The $uper $ingapore $ale art exhibition @ ION

Back at Club Street

Trying out Bockingford 300gsm Watercolour paper. Kind of rough even though it is a NOT paper. The sizing is also different from what I am used to. But I like how the colours turn out on this paper. Raw and coarse. I found I had to work quite quickly and use lots of water with this paper. What's your favourite paper for sketching or painting?

Tea at Ma Masion cafe

I had a nice afternoon tea with fellow sketcher Jenny Sim. I ordered an afternoon tea set which included a nice yummy slice of mixed berry tart.

April Sketchwalk to Kampong Glam

This is my 3rd and final sketcher for the morning. We had a wonderful sketchwalk to the our Malay ethnic quarter here in Singapore. This sketch was inspired by how this how shophouses are seemingly having a conversation with each other. Playing with my new bamboo reed pen and splashing colours.

My completed still life painting for my friend's gift to his mother. A friend has asked me to paint something for his mother's birthday. It is tough to paint to someone's request. Some colours were lost with my canon scanner so you can check this image taken with my camera.
